Who we are:
Block Island Oyster Bar and Grill is is a sister Restaurant to Kimberly’s restaurant here on block island. The restaurant is family owned and operated and evolved out of a 30 year alliance between Kimberly and Norman Ward and Patti and Terry Smith. The four have worked over 30 years together in the restaurant and catering business. On block island Kimberly is known for her warm and genuine hospitality which translates to excellent service for our guest. Behind the scenes Norm, Patti and Terry bring their Culinary experience and 30 year working relationship together to create an innovative menu using Block harvested oysters and locally sourced seafood and produce.
For lunch enjoy our air conditioned dining room or alfresco dining with your favorite frozen cocktail as you bask in the sun in a unique setting with spectacular views of the harbor in the Great Salt Pond. Evenings join us for legendary Salt Pond sun sets and enjoy our upscale culinary creations featuring locally sourced seafood and produce and block island oysters harvested daily.
